I create in a world of blue and orange — colors that became my signature and my way of translating memories of light, summer and movement. This is Not Mykonos plays with Magritte’s “ceci n’est pas…” and turns it into a personal jeu de mots, questioning what a “desired destination” really is. The series began with a simple image: a man in an orange speedo, standing between two blues — sky and sea — a quiet spark that unfolded into an exploration of the male body, travel and tropical light. Anywhere becomes Mykonos when summer exists as a state of being inside you. My work blends architecture, memory and the emotional maps of the places I live in and move through. Each piece holds a bit of home and a bit of the world — a reminder that summer, for me, is something you carry, not something you chase.
