I chose to name this series "DISRUPTIVE” because I felt I needed to get out of my comfort zone and start to experiment various mediums on the canvas in a more abstract way. For this series, my inspiration came from the intricate patterns created by window shadows on the studio floor at different times of the day. Each day, I found out a new and distinct shadow, and I began translating these forms onto the canvas while exploring a range of mediums, all within the same thematic: the interplay of light on the studio floor.
"Disruptive" shows my artistic journey in navigating these uncharted waters. It represents a commitment to pushing boundaries and exploring the unknown. The well know limitation of my palette allowed me to focus on the interplay between orange and blue, emphasizing the effect of light and shadow on the studio's atmosphere.
This series celebrates the beauty of unpredictability, offering a new perspective on the ordinary. It invites people to join me in unraveling the mysteries of these moments, where light disrupts the familiar, inspiring us to see the world in new and captivating ways.
